16 May 09 -- Gisela Menossi, the candidate from the province of Cordoba was elected as Miss Argentina Earth 2009 in the recently concluded Miss Argentina 2009 Beauty Pageant competition held today at the Civic Center Plaza Seca, San Juan.
Gisela is 21 years old, stands with an impressive height of 1.8m and measures 88-60-90cms.
Miss Argentina combines fashion, tourism, culture and beauty in the selection of its winners. According to N-Entertainment Director Nadia Cerri, who herself is a former Miss Argentina, she is doing her best to revive the beauty pageant industry in her country. She wants everybody to understand that the Miss Argentina is not just a mere beauty pageant but it also promotes social responsibility.
There are 24 delegates that competed in the event which was held for the first time in the province of San Juan. The Miss Argentina 2009 Beauty Pageant was transmitted on TV by C5N.(WE)
