The Grand Batang Iwas Droga (BIDA) March yesterday is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “Largest March Against Illegal Drugs.” At their stop at the Rajah Sulayman Park, participants' cards with barcodes are swiped so they would be counted for the record but it is estimated that 50,000 to 70,000 participated. According to Guinness adjudications executive Lucia Sinigagliesi, the Philippines would not be breaking any record since this is the first time that a country or an organization has undertaken such a feat.
