Miss Earth's Homecoming in Miss Cebu 2009 Pageant
Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry was given a plaque of appreciation Wednesday night by her hometown's government, Cebu City during Miss Cebu 2009 pageant, which celebrated their 25th anniversary, for her achievement of being the first Cebuana to win an international crown.
She hoped that the new Miss Cebu will also help promote education to the children and create an awareness on the impact of environment. Back in 2006, Karla competed in the pageant and placed as 2nd runner up.
Karla is busy with Miss Earth Foundation visiting different schools for their "I Love My Planet School Tour" and planning to visit victims of the typhoon that recently hit the southern part of the Philippines.
