The new Ms Earth Puerto Rico is Ms Dignelis Taimy Jimenez. Due to ill health, Ms Angelica Medina who was crowned earlier as Ms Earth PR will not be able to carry on her title and as such forfeit her schedule for the Ms Earth finals in Manila this November 2009.
Ms Dignelis Taimy Jimenez is a graduate of Law and has had taken Criminal Justice as major field of concentration in college. As a multi achiver, Ms Jimenez has also obtained a degree in Journalism. She has the facility for languages and speaks Spanish and English.
