TIRANA, ALBANIA. Suada Saliu is Miss Earth Albania 2009. She was crowned by her predecessor, Rudina Suti, Miss Earth Albania 2008 in a glamorous event. She is prepared to partake in the Miss Earth 2009, the ninth edition of the “beauty for a cause” pageant.

Suada was born in Albania particularly in the City of Durres on March 3, 1987. Suada's mother is an accountant and her father works as a truck driver.

In January 1997, there was a tremendous turmoil in Albania, known as the Lottery Uprising, a rebellion sparked by Ponzi scheme failures. Albania disintegrated into chaos and armed revolt soon after pyramid investment schemes failed. On March 24, 1997 (she was ten years old at that time), her family moved to Caserta, Italy due to the political instability in Albania.
