Can you describe yourself, your background and the place where you are from?
I am from Montreal, Canada, born and raised. Both of my parents are from Trinidad. My family is of African, Scottish, Chinese and Venezuelan descent.
I love Montreal for its diversity and multiculturalism. Although my first language is English I've had the opportunity to learn French as it is the official language where i am from. I enjoy making the best of everything that is handed to me, no matter how bad times may be. I love spending time with my very supportive family and friends. Whether it may be going out for dinner or to the movies, i believe in spending quality time with those i love. I enjoy music and dancing. I started to dance ballet at the young age of seven, and as i grew older I shifted towards hip-hop dance and salsa. At the age of twenty-two I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Concordia University, in Montreal. I plan on continuing in my field after my reign as Miss Earth Canada.

September 1, 2009. Quebec, Canada. Twenty-four-year-old psychologist, Lateesha Ector has been crowned as Miss Earth Canada 2009 at the Les Cours Mont-Royal in Quebec, Canada on August 22, 2009. She will represent Canada in the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant in the Philippines, which starts from October 18, 2009 with the final coronation on November 8, 2009.
Miss Earth promotes environmental awareness and one of the three most prestigious international beauty pageants and is franchised in more than 120 countries. The international pageant has been participated by 130 countries and territories from 2001 to 2008.

Rosotro was one of the guest performers at the Philippine Folk Arts Society of Quebec 25th Anniversary Celebration "Terno & Debutant Ball". This celebration was held at the Grand Ballroom of Hyatt Regency in downtown Montreal on Saturday the 10th of October. Miss Earth Canada 2009 Lateesha Ector was serenaded with a Kundiman (Philippine Cultural Song) entitled "Minamahal Kita."
