Yan Xu has beaten more than 30 delegates coming from different regions of China gaining the right to represent her country as Miss Earth China 2009.

Yan who stands 5'10" (179cm) and hails from Shandong, China also won the Best in Talent.

Cathy Untalan, Miss Earth Foundation Inc. Exec. Director is present during the pageant and was accompanied by the current Miss Earth Philippines 2009, Sandra Seifert.

Yan will travel on November 2009 to the Philippines for three weeks to compete with more than 80 delegates coming from various countries and delegates to compete for the coveted crown of Miss Earth 2009 to be held in Boracay Convention Centre, Philippines.
