My name is Jenaae Jackson, and I stand confident at 5'10” tall. I'm imaginative, outgoing, adventurous and optimistic. I love to travel, and try new things. I'm fascinated by different cultures, music, food and people. I'm always smiling and I love to laugh. I am from the beautiful paradise island of Jamaica, the third largest in the Caribbean. I was born in Jamaica’s bustling capital city of Kingston, located on the southeastern tip of the island. Set against a cool mountainous backdrop, Kingston is the cosmopolitan center of the country. Jamaica is rich in beautiful landscape and a vibrant unique culture.

Kingston, Jamaica – July 28, 2009 – Miss Earth Jamaica organizers announced the result of the selection of a representative for Jamaica at the ninth edition of Miss Earth competition which will take place in Manilia, Philippines from October 18 through November 8, 2009.
The Miss Earth winner serves as the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and other environmental organizations. About ninety (90) contestants from different countries and territories are expected to compete in the event.

Q: At 19, how did you feel at that moment when you were crowned Miss Earth Jamaica 2009 in August 2009?
Jenaae: I was honored. To be given such a wonderful opportunity is amazing. Not only do I get to represent my country, Jamaica, on an international level, but also help spread the word of a very important cause that is affecting the entire world right now, which is global warming and climate change. I am a part of the world becoming more environmentally aware. That's huge! I'm really passionate about this and overwhelmingly excited.

Nineteen-year-old model and entrepreneur, Jenaae Jackson has been selected to represent Jamaica at the ninth edition of the Miss Earth Pageant to be held in Manila, Philippines on November 8.
Jackson's selection was done at the executive level, after several potential candidates were screened using the international pageant judging criteria which includes overall appearance, beauty of the face, swimsuit fitness, poise and elegance, personality, environmental awareness and intelligence.
