Can you describe yourself, your background and the place where you are from?

I was born in a small town, called La Chorrera, just 45 minutes from the capital. My mother is a nurse and my father an electrical engineer. I grew up surrounded by a network of family and friends, in a secure environment where I could practice different sports and where school was also an enjoyable experience. While I grew up, life was slow and easy as well as full of happiness. La Chorrera is surrounded by lush tropical forests and it has several rivers and I remember many summer days and week-ends spent in the water or just playing with all the neighbourhood children. I would not trade my small town for all the glittering capitals of the world.
