Truong Thi May quits Miss Earth owing to sprain PDF Print E-mail

The Vietnamese contestant for Miss Earth 2009 suffered from a serious sprain on her left leg after a fall on October 24. Doctors said she cannot move for at least ten days.

It means that Truong Thi May will have to quit the Miss Earth pageant in the Philippines in November.

The Miss Earth 2009 Pageant will take place in the Philippines in two weeks.  However, up to now there’s no official Vietnamese contestant for the event.

For many years, Elite Vietnam has been the exclusive provider of contestants from Vietnam to international beauty contests, Elite explained that it plans to grow its modeling business ‘in other directions,’ whatever that means.
