Waverley teen Katherine Irving flies from Wanganui to Auckland today and into the national finals of the Miss Earth NZ contest.

Miss Earth New Zealand will be selected on Saturday night, in Auckland, with the winner going to Manila in the Philippines for the International Miss Earth competition in October.
