I send this message to you hoping that even though you are far away from the Philippines, your generosity and kindness can still reach those who were affected by the recent Typhoon Ondoy. I would like to ask for your donations of food, clothing, etc. but i gather that it would probably be unpractical to send here in time so with that said, what I ask is for any simple cash donation to be sent and in return, we will be the ones to buy the food, clothing, water, etc. the victims might need.

We have already sent out the first batch of donations the other night 27 Sept. and hoping that as time goes by it will become more and more with your help and the help of FILIPINO COMMUNITIES everywhere. We have nothing to benefit from this movement but the sense of feeling that we have done something to help.

I urge all of you to please consider this offer seriously and have faith that what I ask of you is to help those in need and I guarantee you that whatever amount you to decide to send whether little or big will go a long way to the victims who have suffered so much.

If you have any questions, please email me ASAP. I have personally seen the situation here and I tell you we all need to move quickly. Let us not sit in the comforts of our homes while others have lost theirs.
